Frequently Asked Questions
Please do contact us if you have another!
Q. I'm not computer saavy. How much do I need to know about computers?
A. Since we help you every step of the way, only very basic computer skills are needed, such as being able to use a mouse.
Q. How many photos can I put in a Photo Story?
A. We recommend between 24 and 36 photos.
Q. How can I bring photos along with me?
A. You can bring photos in digital format, such as those still within a digital camera, on a CD, on a memory stick, or on a flash drive. If you have printed photos, we can easily scan them into the computer.
Q. What should I do to prepare for a class or home party?
A. Probably the most time consuming part of creating a photo story is deciding which photos to include in it! Decide which photos you want to include, 2 - 3 dozen of them, and collect them in one place, or at least identify which ones you are going to use in your photo story.
Q. I want to send my Photo Story to several people. Can I make multiple copies of it?
A. Yes, additional copies of your Photo Story in a variety of ensemble wear are available for purchase.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Each "seat" at a home party or in-home class costs $49, with a 2 seat (2 person) minimum. A birthday party theme (4 kids, ages 8 - 17) costs $149.
Q. Can children attend a home party or in-home class?
A. Because of all of the computer equipment, we strongly request that other arrangements be made for children under the age of 8. Young people aged 8 and older may attend a home party or in-home class as a "paying participant".
Q. How long is a party or class?
A. Each party or class is 3.5 hours long. We need a half hour before and after to set up and break down our equipment. Please contact us for available dates.
Q. How much room do I need to have?
A If you do not have a table large enough to seat four people, each with a laptop in front of them, we can bring folding tables and chairs.
Q. What refreshments can I provide for the participants?
A. You may serve whatever you'd like. We do not allow participants to eat or drink around our computer equipment, or use the equipment if they have sticky or salty fingers!
